Hakara Law Message Scam: Beware!
Hakara Law Message Scam: Beware! Recently, we have been receiving many complaints about a group of scammers using the name “Hakara Law” and sending SMS messages from 02129300964. These scammers are trying to extort money from people by threatening legal action and presenting fake documents.
How Does Fraud Work?
Scammers often start by sending SMS messages to random people. These SMSs state that a legal case has been filed against the recipient and that they should contact Hakara Law immediately. When they call the number in the SMS, they are spoken to by a person with a polite and professional tone of voice. This person introduces himself as a lawyer from Hakara Law and explains in detail the case against the recipient.
Scammers try to fool the buyer by presenting fake case files and other documents. These documents often look official and contain legal terms. This can lead the recipient to believe that the scam is real.
The scammers ask the buyer to pay money to close the case. The payment is usually made by bank transfer or prepaid card. After the buyer pays the money, the fraudsters disappear and are never heard from again.
How Can You Protect Yourself?
You can follow these steps to protect yourself from Hakara Law scams:
- Do not accept any legal documents or payment instructions via SMS. If you are facing a legal case, it is important to contact your lawyer directly and review all documents in person.

- Do not give money to any person or organization to prepay legal fees. Lawyers receive their fees after winning a case.
